Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy

This policy is for people in Washington, Nevada, Connecticut and other states with consumer health data laws. It describes how Kitzer, LLC ("ClearProviders", "we", "us"), 82 Nassau St #60540, New York, NY 10038, handles consumer health data on clearproviders.com. Our general Privacy Policy covers everything else.
Some information about the healthcare services you look up could count as consumer health data, even though we don't ask for your health information. An example is a search for a scan or a lab test.
Consumer health data we collect, and why

We do not collect precise geolocation. We do not collect information about reproductive or sexual health, gender-affirming care, biometric data or genetic data, other than what you choose to type into the search box.
We also use device and network signals to stop automated scraping. These are described in our Privacy Policy. They never include what you searched for or which pages you viewed. We use them only for security and fraud prevention.
Who we share it with
We do not sell consumer health data. We do not share it with advertisers, data brokers, healthcare providers or employers.
The following providers process it only for us, under contract:
- Cloudflare: content delivery and security. Requests to our site, including search addresses, pass through Cloudflare's network.
- Our map-tile service (tiles.rubymap.co): shows the area of the map you are viewing.
- Amazon Web Services: email, for messages you send us.
We may disclose information if the law requires it.
Your rights
You may:
- confirm whether we collect, share or sell your consumer health data, and get a copy of it;
- get a list of the third parties and affiliates we have shared it with;
- withdraw any consent you gave;
- have your consumer health data deleted;
- appeal if we deny your request.
Because we don't keep searches or profiles linked to you, in most cases we will hold nothing about you beyond the messages you sent us.
How to make a request: use our privacy request form, or email [email protected]. We will confirm your email address, and we will respond within 45 days. If we need longer, we will tell you, and we may extend by up to another 45 days where the law allows. If we deny your request, you can appeal through the same form. If your appeal is denied, you may contact your state Attorney General.
Consent
We collect consumer health data only to provide the search you asked for. Before using it for any other purpose, or sharing it beyond the providers listed above, we would ask for your separate consent.
Retention
- Search caches: about 10 minutes.
- Daily search totals: up to 13 months. These are aggregate counts with no personal information.
- Location cookie: up to 90 days, on your device.
- Messages you send us: up to 12 months.
- Privacy requests you make: up to 24 months (unverified requests: 1 day).
- Backup copies are deleted on our regular backup schedule.
